Show and tell The Klawock Bay Inn is located on Prince of Wales Island, bordering the green timbers of the Tongass National Forest and a picturesque bay of the Pacific. This area is the home of the best salmon and halibut fishing in all of Southeast Alaska.

Our Island is one of the few places where you can still catch the mighty Kings (June and July): the fighting Silvers and Pinks (July-Sept): Rainbows, Dollys, and Cutthroats (all season long) and beginning in March, the elusive steelhead make their way back up the rivers for their catch and release season. And always in the salty waters, there are ample Halibut, Cod, and bottom fish, waiting for your lures.
