In addition to providing the greatest sports fishing opportunities, you can hike and bike the Island; clam dig and beach comb the miles of sandy beaches; cruise the salty waters viewing the humpback and orca whales, porpoise, sea lions and otters. Bald Eagles are everywhere, soaring in front of your cabin, and often the black bears are nearby looking for fish or berries.  Watch the graceful Canada geese nesting on the shore.  Or better yet, just relax and enjoy the beauty of the calm saltwater beaches of Klawock Bay.  One of the latest highlights we have on our Island, is the discovery of El Capitan Caves. We can make arrangements for guests to explore the caves with the U.S. Forest Service.

Our home style Alaskan hospitality offers complete fishing vacations for friends, families  and business associates. We'll help you plan your visit to take best advantage of the seasonal highlights, be it charter fishing, whale watching, viewing eagles, fishing the river, likely places to spot a particular bird, wildflower, mushroom or black bear.

Tlingit Heritage

Historically, Klawock was a Tlingit summer fishing village, which grew into a trading post and salmon saltery. This is a great place to explore the Tlingit heritage, visit the Totem park, see traditional Tlingit tribal dancing or watch a native Alaskan carving a totem pole.
